The variance of rolls and the extra content does make it "feel" different enough, and the price of 3 baconator combos from wendy's doesn't seem that bad in that regard, even if I do wish there was still a way to try out all the leviathan raids and other stuff. $32~ into a game where I will probably spend more hours than that enjoyed seems reasonable enough to me, again, since it was about 5 years ago when i bought the game, and it is almost completely different mechanically now since then.īack when the game first came on steam, there were no rolls, and the endgame had one raid that was very, very stale after one time going through it. Regardless, sales occur frequently enough, and looking at steam db, it looks like shadowkeep can go down to $8 and beyond light down to $25. I use ♥♥♥ sometimes if it is cheaper, but I haven't used a key sight for a few years now, as i don't buy new games as often (the games I tend to buy now are much, much larger, or I have a backlog of older games that I am going through ). They know this and they do nothing to prevent it. This has literally put some small indie devs out of business. ![]() The developers are unable to invalidate the Steam keys after they have been generated, so the criminals can still sell them. The developers have to refund the person whose credit card was used fraudulently. People buy game keys with stolen credit cards. Originally posted by MOSLEY:Don't buy from Steam key resellers. So, how often do the expansions go on sale? I recall seeing shadowkeep on sale around the same time I picked up Forsaken, and the sale prices seem a bit more reasonable to me than what they want now. the thing is I do not think that the 2 expansions I am missing are worth $65 dollars. Considering that the game came out 5~ years ago, I can sort of see why they sunsetted that content and are cycling through content as it goes, and if I can get more into the endgame of destiny 2 I might pick up the other expansions I am missing. So, I honestly really, really dislike that the content I paid for before is no longer in the game, but I was thinking about it, and, with the exception of the raids (I have no friends and finding groups for someone who doesn't know what they're doing isn't as fun as it might seem), I did get about 120~ out of (a bit more than the "dollars spent : hours enjoyed" ratio I aim for). ![]() It honestly has been pretty fun playing through the new intro quests and playing through the forsaken dlc (I had that from 2 years ago), and I am genuinely considering getting back into the game fully. After leaving for a while (especially after they sunsetted the content I paid $100 for back when the game first came out), I wiped all my characters, deleted everything in my vault / store-items-thing, and am starting fresh. I am sort of getting back into Destiny 2.
